Returns

SKIN functional understands that sometimes it’s just not going to work and that’s OK, no hard feelings. We offer refunds for 30 days from the date of purchase, as displayed on the original invoice. There are a few terms and conditions to take note of, so please read below.

The Process

  1. Complete and submit the return form.
  2. Package the product securely to ensure the product does not break in transit.
  3. The product you wish to return should be in the original bottle, should not be less than 50% full and should not be past the expiry date. The invoice needs to be sent with the product you wish to return.
  4. 5ml products will not be accepted for returns.
  5. The bottle and carton needs to be sent with your return. If the bottle or the carton are damaged, only a partial refund will be processed.
  6. Ensure that the package has the correct address details and is clearly marked with the following: SKIN FUNCTIONAL — RETURN.
  7. Arrange with your courier to collect the package and bon voyage!
  8. Once the return has been processed you will be notified via email of the outcome. If the return is accepted, the return will be credited.

Terms and Conditions

  1. SKIN functional’s packaging is glass, so in the event that the return is received and is found to be broken inside, SKIN functional cannot be held liable and the return cannot be processed.
  2. If a product is received that is less than 50% full, not in the original bottle or expired, the return cannot be processed.
  3. All refunds require the invoice to be sent back with the product, unfortunately a return cannot be processed without this.
  4. SKIN functional cannot be held liable for returns sent to the incorrect address.
  5. In terms of exchanges, provided the product is unopened and not used we are able to offer an exchange. SKIN functional is not liable for any shipping costs incurred as a result of the exchange. If the product is damaged in transit SKIN functional is not liable and an exchange cannot be processed. If a product has been used or opened we cannot offer an exchange.
  6. The shipping costs for the return will be for your account.
  7. The original shipping costs will not be refunded.
  8. Please allow 2 to 3 working days to process the return.
  9. A return fee of R85,00 will be charged for all returns.
  10. SKIN functional cannot refund items bought from third party suppliers. Refund requests for products purchased from other suppliers needs to be addressed directly with that supplier. This includes Takealot.
