Very smooth and gentle. I don’t use retinol very often, only when I have breakouts and it always does the job.
And don’t forget sunscreen! Retinol and SPF are co-workers; you can’t have one without the other. I say this because I’ve met people who use retinol but skip SPF, which can do more harm than good.

Initially a weared cooling effect, but overall very happy

The product is wonderful. My skin feels so soft after using it. My skin can be quite sensitive to certain body washs and I'd get red patches and itchy skin. But this body wash did not once trigger my skin. I have zero complaints about it, but I would recommend the team to increase the volume. A body wash should be larger than this.

If you have dry skin I would say get a moisturiser and not a lotion. This product is very, very lightweight. I usually get body acne if I use heavy moisturisers but this one is safe. It's a great product that helped with pigmentation and didn't trigger any body acne. I would recommend this to people who have oily or acne prone skin.

Absolutely amazinggg. I love this product. However, I use the 0.1% and upgraded to this but I see no difference at all. But this is still a really, really great product. To any acne prone girlies out there, Don't be afraid to purchase this. It didn't strip my skin nor damage my skin barrier.

This was the first vitamin A I used. And I LOVE it. I've tried the 0.2% retinaldehyde as well and honestly this one is still my favourite. As an acne prone girly it's hard to find products that won't clog your pores or damage your skin barrier but this product is safe. I highly recommend it.

This should be in any and everyone's cart. If you're new to skincare, please purchase this. I have oily acne prone skin and this product helped me so, so much. I've tried multiple niacinamides in this lifetime lol but I'll always come back to this one.

Real is a good multi tasking serum on acne prone skin. It's was a little drying at first few weeks that why is important to space out treatment days now about 2 months later I still space usage days because 💃🏾 I have no new breakout

Very hydrating serum leaves your skin smooth and supple. Gives my skin a "poreless skin effect" as someone with oily mild acne prone my is flawless.

I specifically went looking for this product after seeing a video by Dr Shereene Idriss explaining that tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is one of the most stable and effective forms of vitamin C. This is honestly the product that started me buying from Skin Functional — I couldn’t find this form of vitamin C anywhere else. Most brands only offer ascorbic acid, which I personally don’t love, especially when I’m using retinal/retinol.

This serum feels nourishing and delivers great results without irritation. It does have a richer, oil-based texture, so I use only 2 drops and spread it well, which works perfectly for my skin. My complexion looks brighter and healthier with consistent use.

Such a standout product and a great option if you’re looking for a stable, retinol-friendly vitamin C.

I really loved this product. It’s gentle, non-irritating, and noticeably brightening, making it easy to use consistently without any sensitivity issues. My skin looked more even and fresh with regular use.

That said, for more stubborn sun spots, I personally find azelaic acid works better. This is still an excellent option if you want a milder, effective brightening product that supports overall skin tone without irritation.

A great choice for daily use and sensitive skin.
